Having been involved in running the Digital ID World conference since 2002, it was pretty inevitable that sooner or later, I'd come to view nearly ALL security problems as things that have identity solutions (the ole, "when your tool is a hammer, every thing's a nail"). However, just because I've turned into a droning identity fool, doesn't mean that I'm not right!
Witness the recent incident in San Francisco, where a disgruntled city employee has effectively locked everyone out of the network. Most major publications are now reporting that most of this mess could've been avoid with a little access control and some identity management.
Ain't it fun being right? ;-)
