I've got a four-year old daughter so I've seen my fair share of birthday cakes, but I've never seen one encrypted before.
This is noted Mac hacker Dino Dai Zovi's cake, shot at his 28th birthday party hosted by NYCResistor. It took his girlfriend Alicia about 2 hours to write out the cyphertext, he says. Now that's a cool present.
Dino says that Alicia is becoming slightly famous for her "geeky custom cakes."
Pictured beneath Dino's cake is an LED cake that she made.
There's also a ROBOT cake here.
Alicia apparently gets cool cakes too. Here's an edible microcontroller cake, made for her birthday.
